Ginger is a very amazingly beautiful young lady. She was at auction and
was being bid on by the dealers. We thought that she also deserved a chance
to fulfill her life. She has so much potential to do just about any
discipline.
She is extremely friendly and loves attention. Is the first to come to you
when you are in the pasture. Is learning exceptionally fast with NH. She
will make a wonderful addition to your family.

Stormy is a wonderful little young man that needs more time to grow. It was stated at the auction that he was broke to ride as well as drive. He was driven through the ring but not with a cart attached. He looked magnificent. But no one seemed to wish to take this charming young man home. So we felt that he needed to have a future and bought him out from under the dealers.

Hello my name is Tango and I am a very handsome and smart, but Timid pinto that is about 6 years old. I have come along way since coming to my Second Chance Farm home, but still trying to get over my shyness. I would like a home that understands my needs and is capable of meeting them to help turn me into the man I know that I can be.

Please do not contact us about Tango because you think he is such a good looking horse. He is, but he has many issues that he has been working through and we would like to see him progress and become the amazing horse that I know that he is. I have posted him before and had lots of response. He is NOT for a beginner.
If you would like to adopt him, you must have knowledge of how to work with his issues. Once you do, you will have a amazing horse. He does not have a mean bone in him, just timid ones. He really is very interested in everything that I do with him.

Discipline: Is a wonderful leadline gentleman

Spirit is one of the most amazing gentle and kind gentleman that I have met.
He was given to the farm by his owners whom have owned him all of his life.
Spirit spent his life with his mother, who was tragically injured by another
horse that was at their farm to help Spirit settle to the future loss of his
mother. The horse that had been brought to do this kick and broke the leg of
his mother whom had to be immediately euthanized. Spirit then lost the horse
that was to be his friend and was left alone. Being that he had never been
alone before his owners after just a few days realized that spirits heart
was breaking. He is extremely friendly and loves attention. Is the first to
come to you when you are in the pasture. He will stand for his hooves and to
be groomed with out a halter or lead rope. He had his teeth floated without
sedation. He is in amazing shape for a gentleman getting on in years.
He LOVES to toddle around kids in the saddle, but will not move unless there is a walker beside him. He is one of those horses you just know will take wonderful care of your kids.
Do not let Spirits age scare you, you would never know he was any older
then a little colt playing in the field.

My name is Licorice and I am approx. 20 years old, I am a very beautiful
black thoroughbred with just a single white star on my forehead. My Second
Chance Mom says that I am the spitting image of the horse "Black Beauty". I
have the temperament of Black Beauty also. I have been in foster home
placement and will be returning to SCF now that the new farm is ready for me
and my friends. . I do not wish to be ridden anymore and I am still looking
for that special home that needs a friend and companion. I am not a fan of

Hi my name is Hart and I am a very nice guy. I have had training over the last 6 months and have come along wonderfully. I would love to find someone who is looking for just a fun-friendly trail riding horse. The jumping and showing and being a lessons horse has long since left my life. I love to be ridden bareback, but most times I am ridden western. I am looking for someone to make me there forever horse and home.
